In this post I’m sharing my visit to Be Our Guest Restaurant, one of the most popular restaurants at Magic Kingdom.

The restaurant recreates the Beast’s castle from Beauty and the Beast, and it’s especially loved because it brings to mind the film’s famous “Be Our Guest” banquet scene.
🏰 Three Themed Dining Rooms
Inside, Be Our Guest is divided into three rooms:
- The Ballroom: the most popular room, with a high ceiling, dazzling chandeliers and an atmosphere straight out of the movie

- The West Wing: a dark, mysterious room featuring the slashed portrait and the enchanted rose

- The Rose Gallery: a charming room that feels like a parlor in the castle

We ate in the Ballroom, which is considered the most cinematic and glamorous. That said, it’s the largest room, so it’s crowded and noisy. If you’d like a quieter meal, the West Wing or the Rose Gallery may suit you better.
💵 Prices & Course Format
At Be Our Guest, lunch and dinner cost the same, and the meal is served as a set course:
- Adults: $72
- Children (ages 3–9): $43
You choose one appetizer + one entrée + one dessert.
🍽 What I Ordered
✔️ Appetizer: Tuna Tartare
Fresh tuna with a bright, tangy dressing. It looked great, but the taste was just okay.

✔️ Entrée: Grilled Filet Mignon
For my main I chose the grilled filet mignon. Being tenderloin, the meat was tender, and the mashed potatoes that came with it were outstanding. Smooth and full of buttery flavor — honestly more memorable than the steak.

✔️ Dessert: Crème Brûlée Tart
A crisp tart topped with cream, but the flavor was just average.

The Blooming Rose someone else in our group ordered was much better! It’s a dessert shaped like the rose, the symbol of Beauty and the Beast, so it looks beautiful and tastes great too. Personally, I’d recommend it over the tart.

The bread served before the meal is baguette-style. It was on the hard and salty side, so it wasn’t great eaten right away. We took it back to our resort and warmed it in the microwave the next day, and then it was good.
💰 Total Bill
For four adults:
- Food: $306.72
- Tip (20%): $57.60
- Total: $364.32
Disney prices are no joke… 😅

🐾 The Beast Appears!
During your meal, the Beast appears about every 30 minutes. However, unlike a typical character dining experience, he doesn’t go around the tables taking photos. He waves and greets guests to add to the atmosphere, which could be a special moment if you’re with kids.
After the meal, your server hands you a leaflet signed by the Beast. If you don’t get one, be sure to ask your server! It’s a lovely souvenir, so don’t forget to take it home :)

✨ Final Verdict: Who It’s For
✔ Highly recommended for Beauty and the Beast fans ✔ Very satisfying if you want a special experience with kids ✔ A must if you want to dine in the Ballroom
However, ✔ If you’re trying to save money, I recommend it less — there are plenty of tasty, good-value quick-service restaurants at Disney.
