Today I’m sharing my visit to Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World ✨

Before the trip, I spent a lot of time planning, driven by the ambition to ride every attraction and the goal of moving as efficiently as possible with minimal backtracking. To help anyone who’s figuring out their own route, I’ve laid everything out in the exact order and at the times I actually rode. (For reference, I bought Lightning Lane Premier Pass and used the paid pass throughout the day.)

Visit date: September 30, 2025 Weather: Sunny

7:30 Shuttle to Hollywood Studios

Arriving at Hollywood Studios

Today was finally the day I’d been looking forward to most: Hollywood Studios 💫 We set off early in the morning to rope drop the most popular attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. When we arrived around 8 a.m., the park was already open.

8:20 #1 Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (rope drop)

Most of the rope-drop crowd ran straight for the Star Wars area 😂 We just followed the crowd. This attraction has a lot of pre-shows, so I think we actually boarded around 9. But all those pre-shows make it incredibly immersive. Even I, someone who’s never watched the Star Wars movies, was blown away by the quality! Now I understand why people applaud as they come off the ride 👏

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

R2-D2 footprints in Galaxy's Edge

After the ride, we took a photo in the Star Wars area! Just like the Hollywood stars’ handprints, there were R2-D2 footprints too, haha.

9:40 #2 Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Millennium Falcon in Galaxy's Edge

Next, we moved to the Millennium Falcon attraction right next door! In this interactive ride, a team of six pilots the ship themselves. The roles are split into pilot, gunner, and engineer, and I was an engineer 😅 Still, carrying out the mission was pretty thrilling and fun.

Stormtroopers walk around the area every now and then, and touches like that really make you feel like you’ve stepped into the movie!

10:10 #3 Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (again)

It was so much fun that we rode it again with the Premier Pass! This time we sat in the back vehicle instead of the front, and the route felt slightly different, so it was a whole new experience.

Then it was time to leave the Star Wars area and head to Toy Story Land.

10:10 #4 Alien Swirling Saucers

Alien Swirling Saucers

It looks like a teacup ride, but it spins two ways at once: around the center and on its own axis. The speed is just right, and kids seemed to love the cute Aliens theme 💚 It’s adorable and surprisingly fun, so don’t skip it!

10:25 Lunch at Woody’s Lunch Box

A popular quick-service restaurant in Toy Story Land! We went a little before the usual mealtime, so we ordered right away with no wait. We dug in the moment the food arrived, so there are no photos… (I guess we were hungry!)

Here’s what we ordered, which came to $53.30 in total:

  • Smoked Turkey Sandwich + Mandarin
  • Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich + Tomato-Basil Soup
  • Frozen Mystic Portal Punch + Coke

Since it’s quick service, there’s no tip, so the price is reasonable, and above all, it was delicious! Simple but filling, perfect for a quick meal 👍

11:20 #5 Slinky Dog Dash

Riding Slinky Dog Dash

The highlight of Toy Story Land! This popular attraction is famous for its long lines. The queue is decorated with toy boxes so it never gets boring, and during the ride you can see all of Toy Story Land at a glance, so the view is gorgeous 🌈 It’s a cute yet thrilling coaster that everyone from kids to adults can enjoy.

11:50 #6 Toy Story Mania!

Toy Story Mania! entrance

Toy Story Mania! queue

A shooting-game ride where you put on 3D glasses and hit targets. It’s way more fun if you compete for points with your group! We bet ice cream on it… and I came in first 😎

12:50 Pixar Character Meets

In the Pixar area, we got to meet all kinds of characters: Joy from Inside Out, Sulley from Monsters, Inc., and even characters from Frozen ✨ The Frozen characters were just walking around without a queue, so we got photos quickly.

13:20 #7 The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure

An indoor show with lovely songs and stage effects. The way they portray the Little Mermaid swimming is really creative, and it’s perfect for a short rest in the cool indoors 😌

14:00 #8 Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway

This is a really cute and well-made attraction! In the pre-show, an explosion breaks the screen, and you walk through the broken gap to board the ride, which was very impressive. What follows is Mickey and Minnie’s chaotic adventure, packed with Disney charm 💕

14:20 Meeting Olaf

Meeting Olaf

The line was short, so we hopped in for a quick photo with Olaf! Anna and Elsa at EPCOT have long lines, but you can meet Olaf quickly, so I recommend it.

14:30 #9 Star Tours – The Adventures Continue

Star Tours

Star Tours ride

A 3D motion simulator that takes you to a random planet. The story changes every time, so it feels fresh even if you ride it several times!

15:15 #10 Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

An action show that recreates scenes from the movie’s filming! Fire, explosions, and chases: it’s packed with excitement 🔥 There are plenty of seats, but I recommend going in early and grabbing a spot in the middle.

16:00 Meeting Mickey and Minnie

Right after the show, the line for Minnie and Mickey nearby was short, so we met them. Minnie in her dress looked so pretty 🥰

16:15 #11 Vacation Fun at Mickey Shorts Theater

Vacation Fun at Mickey Shorts Theater

A small theater showing Mickey animated shorts. We went in partly to take a break and enjoyed it in the air conditioning.

16:30 Dinner at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Car-shaped booths at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater

At this restaurant, you sit in car-shaped booths and watch classic movies while you eat. The atmosphere is so unique that I definitely recommend trying it at least once! The steak and the burger were both delicious 🍔🍟 I’ll cover this restaurant in detail in the post below!

18:20 #12 The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Tower of Terror at dusk

Hollywood Studios’ legendary attraction! The weightless feeling when the elevator suddenly drops is a real thrill 😱 Once you ride it, you’ll never forget it.

18:30 #13 Disney Villains Musical

This is the only villains attraction at Disney. It’s a musical show starring the villain characters. It opened recently, so the quality is great. I highly recommend seeing it at least once!

19:20 #14 Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster entrance

You pick up speed in an instant the moment it launches, and with Aerosmith music blasting inside, the adrenaline goes through the roof!!

20:00 Fantasmic!

Hollywood Studios’ signature nighttime show ✨ Mickey’s magic show and fireworks come together, and it really feels like “the Disney finale.” At the end, all the characters appear on a boat, and that scene brings a wave of emotion 😭

From thrilling rides to heartfelt shows, Hollywood Studios is a park you can enjoy to the fullest all day long! Especially if you’re a Star Wars or Toy Story fan, this park is an absolute must-visit!
